Transportation Coordinator- Carlin, Nevada

Redi Services, LLC is looking to fill a role for a Fulltime Transportation Coordinator for our Carlin, Nevada location. Redi Services, LLC was founded in 1982 and provides excellence in Safety and Industrial Service for our clients.

This position requires a candidate to have effective time-management, written communication, planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate can take initiative, work independently and coordinate efforts with others. The candidate must possess excellent attention to detail and can produce high-quality work under short time constraints. As the Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships and dispatching trucks in a timely manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Scheduling and dispatching all trucking jobs in our Nevada operations.
• Adjusting appropriately to last-minute changes in scheduling and communicate effectively with drivers and customers.
• Maximizing fleet efficiencies through proper dispatch planning and execution, ensuring a safe working environment
• Effective asset utilization to contribute to cost control.
• Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations to help ensure driver compliance.
• Ensure drivers are reaching KPIs established for specific hauls.
• Tracking work tickets for invoicing purposes
• Working with Area Manager and Hydro blast/Vac Truck Manager to complete tasks as necessary

Minimum Requirements

• Competent computer skills – specifically, Microsoft Excel
• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of previous dispatch/management experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
• Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
• This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.

Schedule is Monday-Friday in the office with availability after hours for driver/breakdown issues and every other weekend on call.

Starting Salary: $75,000 Per Year DOE.
