Redi Services strives for excellence in safety performance. Since 2005 when Redi Industrial Services sold out to new owners, Gary Condos and Jay Anderson, and later became known as Redi Services the company has experienced rapid growth. The new owners made investments in safety along the way to ensure that the rapid growth did not come at the expense of employee health and safety. Redi Services’ commitment to safety has been recognized by clients, politicians, and government regulatory agencies. Redi Services’ safety program can only reach great heights based on the performance of every employee. Redi Services proudly hires and then trains quality associates to fulfill the service needs of their clients. Below you will find a list of accomplishments achieved by the Redi Services team.

In May of 2012, Redi Services received recognition at Chevron’s Contractor Health-Environment-Safety Management Forum for outstanding performance by an insulation crew that worked at their location incident-free throughout 2011.  In addition to that recognition, Chevron also awarded Redi Services for their willingness to participate in safety meetings by sharing Behavior Based Safety information.

In 2011, Redi Services received the Governor’s Safety Award for Best Safety Program in the Large Construction Industry category.

On February 9, 2012, Newmont recognized Redi Services, along with other contractors, for working together on a project with more than 500,000 exposure hours without any incidents.

In July of 2012, Redi Services, along with their sister company Redi Project Services, received recognition from the Wyoming State Mine Inspector’s office for a perfect safety record while working on mine sites in the state during 2011.

On December 14, 2012, Redi Services received a letter from the management team at ExxonMobil’s Labarge Operations in Southwest Wyoming for their commitment to Stop Work Authority.  Redi Services had long held the position that every employee had the right to stop any job that they thought was unsafe; but in 2012 the owners of Redi Services put that commitment on paper and produce wallet cards for every employee.  Now Redi Services employees have a much better understanding of Stop Work Authority and the importance placed on that authority by management.

On September 6, 2012, Redi Services had an unfortunate incident on a Chevron location when an employee cut his hand while using a utility knife.  The cut was severe enough that it required surgery.  In October of 2012, Chevron presented Redi Services with a plaque that reads, “With Deep Appreciation we present this Award to Redi Services – For Exceptional Case Management and demonstrating care & compassionate effort to minimize the associated human toll when incidents occur.”

In June of 2014, Redi Services received a letter from the State of Wyoming Department of Workforce Services’ Wyoming Workers’ Safety—OSHA Division informing them that they have been accepted into the Employers Voluntary Technical Assistance Program (EVTAP).  Toward the end of 2013, Redi Services invited OSHA’s consultation division onto their Wyoming corporate office location for a compliance review.  The OSHA consultant provided Redi Services with a list of various recommendations for corrections that would improve their operations.  One of Redi Services fundamental operating principles is a commitment to continuous improvement; so, the corrections were made and then communicated with OSHA.  This is the first step toward entering OSHA’s elite Voluntary Protection Program (VPP).

On May 8, 2014, Redi Services again received recognition from Chevron.  This award was presented because of Redi Services’ innovative approach to Near Miss Reporting.  Early in 2013, Redi Services realized that the 3 year trend for Near Miss reporting was on the decline.  Near Miss reporting is an important element of Redi Services’ proactive safety strategy.  To turn this trend around, Redi Services safety team asked employees why they were not reporting Near Misses, and the feedback was that the term “Near Miss” has a negative connotation.  Redi Services now has a Good Catch reporting program.
