Platteville CO Monthley Safety Meeting
We had Ben Graf from Shur Sales come and present at our monthly safety meeting. Ben is a manufacturer’s representative for DBI Sala. Ben talked to us about fall protection safety including: lanyards, harnesses and tie off points. Many of our employees had not seen a fall protection demonstration in the past. Ben lifted up a 220lb weight and let it fall without a shock absorber and then a fall with a shock absorber. Our employees were able to see first hand the difference and importance of wearing fall protection at all items while out in the field. Ben did a great job educating Redi on the rules and standards of fall arrest systems.
